Data governance
Data Policy
Principles for accepting, using, licensing, preserving, correcting and deleting Muzakarah data.
Origin and provenance
Every genuine record stores its source, institution, citation, language, contributor, review status and review date where applicable.
Religious data
Quranic text, hadith, fatwa, chains, biographies and work attributions must not be generated or populated without a verifiable source.
Rights and licences
Muzakarah does not acquire rights to third-party material merely by indexing it. Files are hosted only when rights or permission allow it.
Corrections
A correction proposal requires the field, proposed value, source and explanation. Editorial decisions leave an audit trail.
Retention
Retention periods differ for accounts, audits, contributions, public material and identity evidence. Temporary identity documents are deleted after their purpose is met unless lawful retention is required.
Export and import
CSV/JSON imports undergo validation, duplicate detection and review. Sensitive exports are restricted by role.
